Paul Condon

Paul Condon, PhD, is an associate professor of psychology at Southern Oregon University, a visiting faculty at Rangjung Yeshe Institute in Nepal, and a fellow of the Mind & Life Institute. Paul’s research examines the contributions of psychological science to meditation practices in dialogue with contemplative traditions. His writing and research also examine the impact of meditation on compassion and prosocial behavior, and the constructed nature of emotions and concepts. His research is informed by collaboration with Buddhist scholars and meditation practice in Nyingma and Kagyu traditions of Tibetan Buddhism. At SOU, he regularly teaches Health Psychology, Sustainable Compassion, Stress Management, History of Psychology, and General Psychology.
