Maureen McGee
Maureen McGee has been practicing and studying Buddhism since the late 1990’s when she began attending retreats with Jack Kornfield and Pema Chodron. She began studying with Lama Willa in 2010 and has completed the Margha, Vajrayana and Dzogchen programs. Her practice is inspired by the teachings of Lama Willa, Lama Liz, Lama Bryn Dawson, Anam Thubten and Anne C. Klein.
She served as a Margha Mitra for 4 years and as a member of the Board of Directors for 6 years. She is currently a mentor and practice coordinator in the Vajrayana program.
Maureen worked as a public interest lawyer in Boston focusing on health and human services, judicial administration and government ethics. With her husband, Josh Greenberg, she has lived in Hopkinton, Massachusetts for the past 47 years. Now retired, she is happily working as a hospice volunteer and literacy coach for elementary school students and adult English language learners.
