Winter Solstice Celebration (Online)
December 21, 2026
6:45 – 8:30 pm ET
All are welcome to celebrate the Winter Solstice with us!
Join the EcoDharma sangha of Natural Dharma Fellowship as we come together to welcome the stillness of winter.
The celebration will begin informally at 6:45pm with 15 minutes of shared shrine-making. We encourage you to come to this gathering ready to construct and share a “wild altar” as part of our online ritual practice. The wild altar might include plants, photos, stones, shells and other reminders of nature’s bounty. Also consider having a candle, evergreens or dry branches (local to your area) and incense (or an essential oil with diffuser). We encourage you to point your camera toward your altar during this time so we may share in one another’s sacred creativity.
At 7:00pm, we will formally begin our celebration. Our evening will include guided meditation, community ritual, and shared contemplation.
If you are registered for the 2026-2027 Rewilding the Soul series, you do not need to register separately for Equinox and Solstice celebrations. Please note that Rewilding Councils do not convene during seasonal celebrations.
