Early May is a gorgeous time at Wonderwell Mountain Refuge—new leaves, soft light, and the quiet hum of the season returning to life. It’s also a fertile time to gather in community and offer care to our sangha’s spiritual home that sustains so much of our practice.
“Seva,” the Sanskrit word for selfless service, is a vital part of the Buddhist path. When we engage in seva together, we soften self-clinging, cultivate generosity, and support one another in living the heart of compassion.
We warmly invite you to join us for our Spring Volunteer Weekend, sharing time with sangha while tending both the land and the buildings that nurture Natural Dharma Fellowship’s work in the world. There will be a mix of outdoor and indoor projects for all abilities, alongside plenty of chances to connect, rest, and enjoy the beauty around us.
Wonderwell will provide free overnight lodging, nourishing meals, and relaxing breaks throughout the weekend. Come for the full experience or drop in for any portion—your presence and your intention are truly appreciated.
