Resting in a Rain of Blessings: A Deep-Practice Retreat on Lineage (Online)
With Lama Liz Monson and Camille Hykes
April 22 - 26, 2026
This is the ONLINE component of the retreat. If you’d like to register for the RESIDENTIAL component, please click here
Join Lama Liz Monson and Camille Hykes for a deep-practice retreat devoted to resting in the living stream of lineage blessing. Through meditation, devotion, and reflection, we will open to the radiant field of wisdom that flows from the awakened hearts of the great masters into our own.
This deep-practice retreat invites us to connect directly with the luminous energy of awakening transmitted through authentic lineage. Drawing inspiration from the lives and realizations of great Tibetan masters such as Longchenpa and Milarepa, we will engage in intensive meditation, devotional practice, and reflection to attune to the living current of blessing that continues to flow through time and space.
Please join us to:
- Rest in the living stream of lineage blessing and wisdom
- Deepen our connection with the awakened hearts of great lineage masters
- Explore how transmission bridges time and dissolves distance
- Open into the luminous mind of our true nature
This hybrid retreat focuses on intensive meditation inspired by the energy and teachings of the Tibetan Buddhist lineage. We will connect from the heart with the energy and power of awakening transmitted by key lineage figures, who continue to inform and invigorate our practice today.
This retreat is open to all and is also intended as a deepening, experiential encounter with lineage following the eight-week course Sacred Transmission Through Time and Space: A Text Study on Lineage, taught by Lama Liz and Ron Thomas, Jan. 7 – Feb. 25, 2026. Through meditation, reflection, and devotional practice, participants will explore how authentic lineage serves as a living stream of awakening, bringing the energy of the great masters into our own hearts and lives. Please bring clothing suitable for meditation and movement.
All are welcome. Full attendance is encouraged. Participation in the 8-week Sacred Transmission course is encouraged but not required.

Program Cost
Our program fees provide essential support to our non-profit operations and NDF’s mission to spread the Dharma in accessible, relevant, and creative ways. Our goal is that no one misses out on our events due to lack of funds. Thanks to our generous donors, we are able to offer tiered pricing and additional support to fit varied financial situations:
- May All Beings Benefit! *– supporting access for all and general support for NDF operations
- A Middle Way – covering the base cost
- Held in Sangha Loving-kindness – offering ease when financial resources are limiting
If the lowest cost tier creates an obstacle to your attendance, please see our financial support options on the registration page. The process is simple and does not require extensive information. Financial aid is immediately approved using discount code options that allow you to contribute the most you are able while honoring your particular resources.
* The difference between the May All Beings Benefit! tier and the Middle Way tier will be considered a tax-deductible donation and will be acknowledged as such in writing. Contributing at this level helps us offer financial aid to other participants. Thank you!!
Access to Recordings
NDF offers unlimited access to recordings, which are available in your user dashboard (more information about user accounts provided in a pre-retreat letter). If you have a user account, please register with the same email you use to log into your dashboard. If not, an account will be created for you using your registration address.
Availability will vary depending on the type of event and the backlog for our precious resource volunteers. Thank you for your patience.
