Online — Dharma Sunday (10/9): Clear Light—The Invisible Thread of Continuity

At the time of death, after the senses and elements of the body have dissolved into consciousness, consciousness itself dissolves into even more subtle forms of knowing. This process culminates in what is beyond name or form, what is often nevertheless named “Clear Light.” Narratives of clear light weave through many levels and schools of Buddhist discourse in different ways, and the practice of clear light is one of the central elements of the famous “Six Yogas”. In this brief Sunday program, Lama Karma will introduce some of these narratives of clear light, and situate them within various approaches to dharma practice.

Dharma Sundays with Natural Dharma Fellowship are now taking place most Sundays. These sessions, led by highly trained NDF Dharma and guest teachers, include guided meditation, teachings, and time for discussions. A wide range of topics are offered at the discretion of the teacher. On one Sunday per month, we are offering our year-long Dharma Dialogues program during this same time slot.
