Merry Mahakalas
April 23 - May 28, 2025
Wednesdays, 5:30 – 7:00 pm ET
Mahakala is seen as a force that can transform negative emotions and energies into powerful, compassionate forces. His fierce countenance symbolizes the intensity needed to overcome ignorance and delusion.
As we dance with our dear Sangha in courses, retreats and events, we have shared and heard of the anxiety that is so clearly present in our post-election lives.
In this time of intense social, political and cultural turmoil, are we able to look beyond the chaos and memes to really understand how our hearts are doing?
Members of the NDF Sangha will offer a space to come together in practice, conversation and study so that we learn more about each other’s struggles and solutions. We will deeply listen to each other’s stories of where we are finding ourselves right now, what we are doing to care for ourselves and others and how our practice and sangha supports us and our life’s actions.
As joyful warriors, we invite you to engage in a pilot practice group beginning on April 23 and meet online each Wednesday from 5:30-7:00, and extending for 6 weeks, through May 28 All are welcome to share this space.
