Embracing Wholeness and Equanimity: A Private Retreat for Great Pond Sangha
March 2 - 4, 2018
Registration for this retreat is now closed.
Retreat is a powerful and precious way to deepen one’s practice and commune with our spiritual brothers and sisters. This is a Sangha-led retreat, guided by meditation teachers Susan Malloy and Laura Howell as well as many mentors and practice-leaders. There will be one or two dharma teachings, numerous guided and silent meditations, community meals, time to spend enjoying nature hiking in the 15-ish acres of Wonderwell woods as well as leisurely strolls down country roads and star-gazing. Our time together will be held mostly in Noble Silence but with opportunities for discussion and a little socializing as well.
This retreat is intended for regular participants of Great Pond Sangha, regardless of how long you’ve been attending. Spouses/partners and your children/teens who are not Sangha members are welcome to attend retreat if they are interested in trying out a few meditation sessions and can commit to maintaining silence in public spaces of Wonderwell. However, there is no child-care nor specific children’s activities other than what parents coordinate.
The retreat will run from check-in between 3-5pm on Friday March 2 through lunch on Sunday March 4, with departure by 2pm. Because it is a short retreat, arrivals after 9pm on Friday are not possible.
