On this hybrid Dharma Sunday, join Lama Liz for the seventh installation of the Forest Teachings, a series of Dharma talks inspired through exploring how the energies of the living world invite us into deep renewal, transformation, and reconnection with the more that we are and always have been.

On this Dharma Sunday, we explore the interplay between what we call “mind” and mind’s need for form. Contrary to what we may think, our minds need form perhaps even more than we need emptiness. Form is everywhere; relational forces are everywhere. Our minds reflect how we navigate the world of form, because the world of form is the world of relationship, and who we really are is inherently, profoundly relational. From the Dzogchen and Mahamudra perspectives, forms (or appearances) are not separate from mind itself. To recognize this is to remember our interrelational and inseparable beingness with the living world.

Please join us on this summer solstice day to remember that who we are is every shimmering relation of which we have ever been a part: the vast river of starlight over our heads, the wash of warm summer breezes across our skin, every still pond where a frog has jumped. The river of our interrelationships flows through the temporary vessel of this body, mystery manifested as form.

Natural Dharma Fellowship’s Dharma Sundays are donation-based gatherings open to all, offering a wide range of topics. Led by highly trained NDF Dharma and guest teachers, these live, interactive sessions include guided meditation, teachings, and time for questions and discussion. Please join us to settle into the support of sangha and the joy of practicing together.

This Hybrid Dharma Sunday is offered in person at Wonderwell (Residential option) and Live via Zoom (Online option). For more information, please choose one of the options in the YELLOW panel.
