Dharma Sunday (4/7) (Online) – Relational Insight Meditation: An Introduction to Insight Dialogue

Join Jan Surrey, Insight Dialogue teacher, for a morning of Insight Dialogue practice. Insight Dialogue is a relational meditation practice that combines the cultivation  of shared meditative mind states, contemplation of wisdom teachings of the Buddhadharma, and the great amplifying power of spiritual friendship and sangha. We will practice the six  guidelines of Insight Dialogue:  Pause , Relax, Open, Attune to Emergence, Listen Deeply and Speak the Truth to meditate together in direct engaged and embodied practice. Through this, we  will explore the possibility of liberation and release from suffering in meditation and in  our relational lives. Drawing on the teachings of the Sedaka (Acrobat Sutta) we will contemplate how caring for self can be caring for others and how caring for others can be caring for self.

Dharma Sundays with Natural Dharma Fellowship are now taking place most Sundays. These sessions, led by highly trained NDF Dharma and guest teachers, include guided meditation, teachings, and time for discussions. A wide range of topics are offered at the discretion of the teacher. On one Sunday per month, we are offering our year-long Dharma Dialogues program during this same time slot.
